About MovieChecker

Search a title once, then inspect how availability changes by country, by provider, and by season where enough data exists.

MovieChecker is designed to make streaming discovery clearer without pretending catalogs are static or universal.

What the site does

Country-aware streaming search

The finder checks a selected movie or series, shows provider availability by country, surfaces season-level detail when it is available, and keeps the search state easy to share.

Why it is useful

One place for the practical questions

Instead of repeating the same title search across services, you can compare countries, inspect provider summaries, open trailers, and keep a local guest profile with saved items on your own device.

Source transparency

Built on real catalog data, not guesses

MovieChecker uses TMDb metadata and TMDb watch provider data in the main search flow. Some season-level availability paths may also use additional backend data sources when that support is enabled.

Country behavior

Availability changes by market

The same title can have a different provider lineup, different rental status, or no availability at all in another country. That is why the selected country is treated as part of the search itself.

Local profile

Guest mode stays on this device

There is no built-in account system. Favorites, watchlist items, watched status, and AI taste signals are stored locally unless you intentionally create a public share link for selected lists or recommendation snapshots.

Catalog freshness

Useful, but not a final guarantee

Streaming catalogs change often, and provider data can lag behind a real platform change. MovieChecker helps narrow the search, but the provider app or website is still the final place to confirm before watching.
